| Anjali Awasthi joined Rotunda Blue Fertility &
Keyhole Surgery Center, Mumbai in the capacity of the Laboratory
Director. Anjali has been instrumental in setting up its ART
lab and plays a key role in maintaining its high pregnancy rate.
She is also a visiting embryologist at various satellite centres. |

| Anjali has conducted over a thousand IVF/ICSI
procedures and has to her credit 431 successful pregnancies
including 8 trans-ethnic pregnancies. She has conducted many
IUI/IVF workshops and is responsible for training several Indian
and international clinicians. She has also contributed chapters
to books edited by leading doctors of the country.

| Anjali holds a vast experience of eight years
in the field of ART. Prior to joining Rotunda Blue Fertility Clinic,
Anjali worked as the chief embryologist at Dr L H Hiranandani
Hospital and Lab Director at Prince Aly Khan Hospital. |

| She is a gold medalist in M.Sc in the faculty
of Mammalian Reproductive Physiology and was granted a scholarship
for her research project on “Effect of Heavy metals on
the various cell types of anterior pituitary with special reference
to inhibin and morphometric and functional changes in sperms”
in association with IRR, Mumbai. |

| Anjali’s areas of interest are Assisted
hatching, Embryo freezing, PGD and she has taken formal training
in Genetic Counseling. She has presented a paper on “Achieving
higher implantation rate in IVF’’ at Indian Society
of Assisted Reproduction in the year 2005. |
|
| As the head of the IVF Lab, care and maintenance
of human sperms, eggs and embryos is her prime responsibility.
With changes in the conventional IVF protocols, she has attained
higher pregnancy rates. At Rotunda Blue Fertility Clinic, she actively
